The MidNite MNWBJR is an advanced accessory designed to enhance your Classic, Classic Lite, or The Kid charge controller by adding battery monitoring capabilities. This Whiz Bang Jr module provides a real-time “fuel gauge” and amperage monitor for your battery, offering precise insights into energy usage and system performance.
It connects directly to a standard 50mV/500A shunt to measure the amperage and track how much energy is being used. The MNWBJR is compatible with existing battery monitoring systems like the Magnum BMK, though you may need #8 size ring connectors for integration. For optimal performance, ensure your Classic controller firmware is up-to-date, with instructions available in the MNWBJR manual.

The MidNite MNWBJR Whiz Bang Jr is a current sense module that attaches to the standard 50mv / 500A Shunt (MNSHUNT) and wires into the Classic and KID charge controllers to give Amperage readings from the shunt. To use the Whizbang jr (MNWBjr) with any of the Classic Lites, you will either need the local app or an MNGP.
